Giving Is Worship
As members of First Baptist Church of Laurel, we commit to the following:
We will joyfully and sacrificially contribute from our resources, according to God’s gift, for the maintenance of a faithful and biblical ministry among us, for the support of the poor, and for the spread of the gospel, (2 Cor. 9:7; Gal. 6:10; James 1:27; 1 Jn. 3:17-18).
We give in response to who God is and all that He has given us. In this way, we seek to honor King Jesus by giving to His church out of the abundance with which He has entrusted us.
How to Give
Online
You can give now one-time, or easily set up recurring giving through our secure giving portal. Text “FBCL” to 833-245-8242 to receive a link to our secure giving portal.
Offering
Place cash, check, money order, or envelope directly into the offering boxes conveniently located in the lobby. Because we view giving as an act of worship, we pass an offering plate during services on the third Sunday of each month.
Bill Pay
Use your bank’s Bill Pay service to send your one-time or recurring donation to the church. No account number is required.
The Legacy Fund
The Legacy Fund provides for the ministries at First Baptist Church of Laurel that are primarily committed to missions and community outreach. While the interest from this fund will be applied directly to certain ministries, the principle will remain untouched; hence, the idea of a legacy.
Benevolence Fund
The Benevolence Fund provides relief to the members at First Baptist Church of Laurel who are in need. The deacons who manage this fund can be contacted at: (XXX) XXX XXXX.
