Service: Sundays at 10:30 AM / Family Life Center · 15000 First Baptist Lane, Laurel, MD
Parking: Guest parking is reserved near the front entrance. Look for the signs as you come in along First Baptist Lane.
FBCL Kids (Birth–5th Grade): During the 10:30 AM service, we offer age-appropriate worship and Bible lessons for children from birth through 5th grade. Sunday School is also available at 9:00 AM. Check in at the Child Check-in counter when you arrive.
FBCL Students (Middle & High School): Middle and High School students meet on Sundays at 9:00 am. Our midweek gathering, The Walk, is offered on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Pastor’s Coffee: On the second Sunday of each month at 5:00 PM, one of our pastors hosts an informal gathering at a local coffee shop. It’s a chance to ask questions, hear more about our church’s vision, and meet others who are checking us out — no agenda, no commitment.

Starting Point is for anyone who wants to move beyond attending and connect more meaningfully with FBCL. In a relaxed setting, you’ll meet our pastors and staff, get an insider’s view of our values, beliefs, and vision, and find out how you can get involved. Every question is welcome.
Attending Starting Point is required for covenant membership, but attending doesn’t commit you to anything. It’s simply an opportunity to learn and connect.

What should I wear on a Sunday morning?
Wear what makes you comfortable. You will see people dressed in all styles—some wear casual clothes like jeans and t-shirts, while others prefer to dress up in business-casual or traditional Sunday attire.
How long do services normally last?
Worship begins at 10:30am and typically concludes by 12pm.
What is FBCL’s style of worship?
We practice a blended style of worship, incorporating great hymns of the Baptist tradition with modern worship songs that we anticipate becoming staples of the Baptist hymn tradition.
What if I don’t own a Bible?
We have Bibles available for you! Just ask.
How will I know where to go on a Sunday morning?
We have greeters at the door to direct you to where you need to go.
What is FBCL’s child safety policy?
All of our volunteers have undergone a background check and have agreed to operate according to our Family Ministry Handbook. These measures help to ensure the safety and accountability of all.
